I love what you say about learning how to write the project while writing it. That feels so true. I never feel like I really know what I’m doing even though I feel myself growing as a writer. Learning more is wonderful but it also shows you there’s so much more you don’t know haha.
Writing is such a hard craft to be committed to. Like, I know there's so much I don't know but I when I started, I felt like I already knew so much. Like that a shitty first draft written during NaNoWriMo was absolutely going to be *the* publish-ready manuscript (😅😂🤣🙃). But the cool thing is what you pointed out too—i also feel myself growing as a writer. I love this feeling.
I think that’s what took me so long to get back to writing; I needed the first draft to be perfect for so long and it took time and experience to let go of that.

Aw, thank you.
